The Triton II was built in 1971. It is owned by the Ponce family, it has consistently been St. Augustine’s top producing boat.
The Santa Maria II was formerly owned by Capt. Witmor of St. Augustine. For more information on Capt. Witmor and St. Augustine’s shrimping industry watch this video by Sarah Williamson.
The Miss Lewis II is owned by Capt. Bill Hunsicker. She was built by St. Augustine Trawlers in 1973 and was constructed from cypress, oak, fir, and pine.
The Capt. Trey is the sister ship to the Triton II and is also in St. Augustine. It is owned by the Ponce family.
The My Little Margie was launched in 1979 by DESCO Marine as a shrimp trawler and is now homeported out of Ft. Myers, Florida.
