Holidays in Spain Cooking Class

Travel along with us as we explore traditional Spanish holiday dishes including Tapas, Paella and Crema Catalana along with our favorite Sangria!
Our journey will begin with Tapas. These are small Spanish savory dishes, typically served with drinks at a bar. These small plates are a great way to sample both well known and exotic Spanish cuisine.
We move on to Paella, taking its name from the pan in which it is cooked, is a traditional dish from the Valencia region of Spain. It features fluffy saffron rice, shellfish, shrimp, chorizo and a selection of in-season vegetables. It is not only delicious, but a great interactive way to cook a meal at home with friend and family. And since it’s all done in one pan – clean up is a breeze!
We finish our tour with Crema Catalana, which is a custard dessert similar to the French creme brûlée. Its creamy texture and burnt sugar crust make the dessert course many peoples favorite.
Don’t forget the Sangria!! Sangria is not simply fruit in wine – it is a punch traditionally made with wine, orange juice and brandy, along with seasonal fruit… there are many versions and we have tested them all – landing on our favorite which we hope will soon become yours!
This demonstration style cooking class will be held at the Rype & Readi GOLF BISTO, 4900 Cypress Links Blvd, Elkton Florida. 6:00pm – 9:00 pm on the date indicated.
As our chef’s demonstration the different menu items, you get to enjoy the menu as a meal, served with or without wine. We encourage questions and are happy to answer any cooking related queries during and after the demonstrations.
You will receive a knowledge and recipe book with the recipes used in class to take home with you.

You’ll not only learn some great recipes, but also a fair amount about culinary techniques and food history while enjoying wines of the region. Classes are pre-paid and non-refundable – nominated substitutes are welcome.
