Brüks bars are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and egg-free! Available in four flavors: Peanut Butter, Cherry Espresso, Apricot Chocolate, and Apple Pecan.

Their story:

The foundation of brüks bars was quite literally built on our love story. Our story began as a journey to combine the two things we crave most: really delicious food with a convenient and allergy-conscious twist. When our paths crossed in New York City it was almost love at first sight, but it was our shared passion for cooking and baking (gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free and vegan) and wellness that gave us an unwavering bond.

When Sean began graduate school in Exercise Physiology he needed a nutrient-dense snack, made from real food (no refined syrups, please!) and fit within his strictly gluten-, dairy-, soy- and egg-free diet. He had discovered his food intolerances more than a decade prior while he was a collegiate athlete which sparked his search for a clean, allergy-conscious and delicious snack bar which spanned for more than a decade. He had tried all the bars, but none that he felt good and craved every day.

One day in 2012 we stood in the middle of our local grocery store we decided, ‘Maybe we can do better…‘ and the rest is history.

After a few rounds in the kitchen we created our first batch of “Original” bars (sweet ‘n savory). Unrivaled in taste and texture next to anything we’d tried – plus they were made from whole ingredients we had in our kitchen, and still are.

Months after our first batches our friends and colleagues tried a few bites and demanded more. In August 2013 we launched brüks bars in Charlotte, NC when Sean got a job as Sports Performance Coach for University of North Carolina, Charlotte.

Less than two years after launch we had partnered with 70+ retail partners, shipped nationally and got approved to sell our real food snacks to Whole Foods South, launching in Whole Foods with one location. Within three months we were in 13 Whole Foods, and in under a year pushed out to the entire region.

Today, our small but mighty team has grown from just Sean and I in the kitchen at all hours to include Pete Smith our partner and COO and a team of folks who help keep our snacks going round. We work with retail partners across more than a dozen states, and 140+ retail locations.

Most importantly as we’ve grown, we’ve remained the same. With brüks bars our Vision is: To provide fuel for YOU to change the world, one bite at a time. We believe in playing a part in a movement bringing simple, real food back to the market and we’re proud to play a small but mighty role.
