Stonefire® Authentic Flatbreads is a family-owned bakery steeped in experience with a simple mission: To make one of a kind, authentic flatbreads. Founded by the Ajmera family, Stonefire® Authentic Flatbreads bakes authentic naan, pizza crust and now Naan Crisps snacks. We use traditional baking methods and the finest ingredients without artificial preservatives, flavors or colors to bake our award winning products. Our versatile flatbreads make it easy to create nutritious, fresh and delicious meals in your own home. And they are now available at Rype and Readi.

Authenticity is not easy. The Ajmera family undertook a massive study of ancient recipes and toured the world to seek out the best tasting flatbreads. To maintain the traditional baking method for Naan, the family invented a new technology that perfectly mirrors the intense heat of the ancient Indian tandoor ovens, traditionally made of clay. Recreating this ancient, baking technique took the Ajmera’s a few years, plenty of trial and error and lots of patience; but eventually perseverance and passion translated into success. With this patented oven, Stonefire was able to meet high demands, producing millions of flatbreads a week.

Ingredients are as equally important as the traditional baking methods. For example, using fresh buttermilk and traditional ghee (clarified butter) are an essential component of the Stonefire naan recipe. All dough is made in small batches. The naan is hand-stretched. Most importantly, every Stonefire Authentic Flatbread is made with the highest quality ingredients, no artificial preservatives, colors or flavors, 0g trans-fat and no hydrogenated oils. Because Stonefire Authentic Flatbreads do not contain any artificial preservatives, they should be eaten soon after purchase or they can be frozen in their original package for up to six months.

Dear Friends, Family and Valued Patrons of Rype & Readi

As we close 2018 and look forward to our 5th year, we once again welcome and will be challenged by change.


As many of you know, we took a calculated risk in opening at the Colee Stables downtown.
Property ownership had been disputed and litigated for the last 9 years. Finally resolved, we were regrettably unable to come to reasonable terms with the new owner and our lease ends on the 31st of December. This was complicated in part by a commitment we had made to expand our market operations downtown beginning next fall, adjacent to a well known, well trafficked anchor.
Rest assured Rype & Readi will have a downtown presence again. But for the immediate near term, we are consolidating operation to our St. John’s Golf Club facility where we will focus on catering, prepared foods, dinner events, cooking classes and, of course, a market for fresh local fine foods.

Our location at the St. John’s Golf Club is a diamond in the rough. In addition to having a full restaurant and bar, we have a magnificent patio overlooking acres of manicured greens, gorgeous in the daylight and tranquil in the evenings when the golfer’s day is done.
With plenty of space on the terrace and adjacent properties (including parking for several hundred cars) this venue, at the intersection of State Road 207 and I-95 promises to host some creative, exciting and delightful family events throughout the coming year.
